Center for Obesity Surgery and Treatment
Surgical Group of Gainesville provides a variety of general surgery services. Gastric Bypass surgery is one of those specialties. We perform hundreds of these operations each year. Not only does this increase out staffs experience and expertise in this field but it also indicates that the hospital staff at North Florida Regional Medical Center and the consulting physicians who help us are well versed in caring for gastric bypass patients.

Our center for obesity surgery is committed to work with a special population of patients with unique issues and health problems. Currently five of our surgeons perform gastric bypass operations. Other Things You Should Know
Please be patient. Our doctors are surgeons and some operations take longer than expected. This may delay your appointment. Bring reading material with you and allow plenty of time for your visit. Take comfort in knowing that we'll also spend extra time with you if that should be needed.

Ocassionally we may need to reschedule your appointment due to circumstances beyond our control, such as surgical delays and emergencies. Should this occur, we appreciate your understanding.
